Today is PINK SHIRT DAY or ANTI-BULLYING DAY.

Do you know what the word BIBLE stands for? It stands for:

Basic Information Before Leaving Earth. 

Jesus gives us this basic information in very simple terms. 

We need to love God with our whole heart, and love others.

Jesus tells us repeatedly in the bible that we need to love one another and pray for those who hurt others. 

Let us remember that when we laugh at someone, they feel pain.
When we do not stick up for someone who is being bullied, they are alone. Being a Christian is tough work but loving one another is what Jesus asks us to do. 

Our prayer today is called: A Prayer for Love

Lord God, give us the courage to stand up and get involved when we see someone being bullied or picked on. 

Jesus, we only know love because YOU are love and you loved us first. Give us wisdom and common sense to talk to others respectfully and to use words that are kind and positive instead of hurtful!

We pray for those who hurt others with their words and actions and ask our loving God to bless them. May they come to know you, Lord God, through our example of kindness, respect and love for all people. 

We ask all our prayers in Jesus’ name. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. AMEN
