Yesterday was WORLD WATER DAY.

Without water there is no life; there are no stars, no living planets or animals, no clouds, no mountains, no prairies, and no children of any species.

Water is needed for drinking, cleaning, washing, and making crops grow. There is no substitute for this precious resource, and yet we waste it, we pollute it, and we even sell it! Let's start today by thanking the Lord for the gift of water.

We praise and thank You, Lord,
for the gift of living water.
Guide us
to use water wisely,
to learn from its humility,
to use it carefully,
and to protect its purity,
so that we may truly enjoy the precious gift of water.
