In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Gracious God, 

We thank you for the gifts that we will open tomorrow and the time we will spend with those we love. Help us to look back at what happened on Christmas Day all those years ago. 

That holy night a Child was born who is the Savior of our world, who washes away all the selfishness and sin of the children of God – all of us – if we but let him. 

Thank You for his great gift of that arrival that we celebrate tomorrow. 

Help us to remember the true meaning of Christmas day and cherish the gift of Christ and His amazing grace above all other things. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
