God, our loving Father, you sent your Son, Jesus, into this world to overcome evil and hatred with the power of love. Thank you, Jesus. 

Help us Lord God, to join with you in bringing Your light into this world, the light that is your Son, born of the Virgin Mary, in Bethlehem.

May we do our part as Christians of helping others who are suffering and in need of peace, hope and love. 

Help us to be instruments of Your light and love by doing acts of kindness and by loving one another today and every day.

Thank you, Jesus, for always being with us, and for loving us, just the way we are.
